Why Perfume Fades — and How Layering Fixes It
Fragrance disappears for two reasons: the alcohol that carries it evaporates, and bare skin gives scent molecules very little to hold on to. Applying a perfume oil first gives the Eau de Parfum a richer surface to settle into. The spray’s opening notes still rise and radiate as usual, while the base layer keeps feeding warmth back into the composition hours later. Two layers, one seamless scent — with far more staying power and a fuller trail than a single spray can manage.

Step 1 — Base Layer: Myrrh & Tonka Intense Perfume Oil, 0.33 fl oz / 10 ml roll-on. Its job: anchor the scent and extend the dry-down.

Step 2 — Projection Layer: Myrrh & Tonka Intense Eau de Parfum, 0.27 fl oz / 8 ml spray. Its job: lift, radiance and sillage.
Both are matched to the same formula, so the two layers reinforce each other instead of competing.

Lay the base — Roll the perfume oil across your wrists, the sides of your neck and your chest. Give it a minute to set.

Seal with spray — Mist the Eau de Parfum over the same spots from about six inches away, plus one spritz on your scarf or collar.

The EDP on its own gives you projection. The system adds a dedicated base layer underneath, so the scent lasts longer and the dry-down stays richer.
